Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has alleged that leaders of the opposition Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) were involved in a "conspiracy" against his cabinet colleague Jaykumar Gore in a case involving a woman. A 25-year-old man in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, allegedly killed his mother with a spear when she intervened in a fight between him and his wife.
